Laura Jeidy-Brown – my last name is pronounced: Yai-dee-Brown
I am originally from Wisconsin and graduated from University of Wisconsin – La Crosse in 2008. After graduating, I began my teaching career in Omaha, Nebraska. While in Nebraska, I worked towards my master's degree in Teaching, Learning, and Teacher Education with a Reading Specialist certification. I earned my master’s degree in 2015 from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln. After my husband finished his graduate work, we moved to Bonn, Germany where we lived for two years. After that we made one three-year move back to Madison, Wisconsin, and my son, Theodore, was born there. My husband's job brought us to Auburn in 2020, and we have loved slowly transforming into Southerners!
I currently teach 8th grade English here at Auburn Junior High.
