Our 18th Annual (and 2nd Virtual) Drake Middle School Veterans Day Program can be found at this link. We invite our Drake family and community to take a moment to watch the production, which includes members of the DMS student body. Please ensure the volume is up on the website prior to starting the video.
Our sixth graders have written personal letters to veterans thanking them for their service and inviting them to view our program online. We appreciate the opportunity write and acknowledge our veterans, even if they live in other states. Thank you, Veterans, for your service!
Due to the traffic limitations in our front driveway and afternoon bus pickup, checkouts will not be permitted after 3:00 PM each day. Please make plans to check your child out prior to 3:00 PM if you have afternoon appointments, etc.
We are so excited about our 4th Annual Book It For Drake 5k and Fun Run taking place Saturday, February 26, 2022 at Town Creek Park. The One Mile Fun Run begins at 8 am and the 5K begins at 8:30 am. Teams are competing to see who will have the most participants. ACS students can register for the race for only $15.00. Are you registered?
The purpose of this event is to raise money for new books and technology for our students, and classroom materials and professional development for our teachers. In honor of our registration opening, we are excited to offer 200 PBIS dollars for sign-ups by Thanksgiving. The cost for ACS students is $15 (the discount comes off at the end). Registration includes a t-shirt! Registration is open and we are hoping for 100% participation from all families at Drake. You can sign up HERE.

We are also reaching out to local businesses to sponsor the event. Sponsorships range from $100- $1000 and provide a great opportunity to support our middle school students. If you are interested in participating as a sponsor, please click here HERE to complete the sponsor registration form.
Mrs. Sagastegui (email@example.com) is happy to answer any questions you may have. We appreciate your consideration and hope to see you on race day!
If you were unable to attend the Fall PTO meeting, we have provided a link to the meeting here. Additionally, if you would like more information on how to create a parent Schoology account, you can find information by selecting this link.
