  • Robotics Team Application for Rising Grades 7-9

    Attention!! Are you interested in being on the 2024-2025 Auburn City Schools Robotics Teams? Please fill out the application attached. There are two rounds of the tryout process.  *Applications must be submitted online by 8:00 AM on 4/25/24. NO LATE APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED.

    First Round: This online application and teacher evaluations. We will send the teacher evaluations out not the student.

    Second Round: An in-person interview and a variety of hands-on task assignments the week of May 6-10. Second round dates will be sent out to the students when selected.

    All students selected for the team or otherwise will receive an email as to their status on the team. Many of the details about the team requirements and commitments are listed in the application. Please review the application carefully. Please email Jacque Middleton (Secondary Robotics Coordinator) at jmiddleton@auburnschools.org with any questions.

  • ACS Mass Athletic Physicals Opportunity

    Place: AHS Gym
    Date: Wednesday May 1
    Time: 3:35-4:30

    Post Physical: Athletes MUST upload their doctor signed physical into their current Dragonfly account (Returning athletes should not make a new account). We will request that each athlete take a picture of their form with their cell phone.

  • ESS Girls' Basketball Tryout Details

  • ESS Cross County Sign-Ups

    There will be an informational meeting on May 7 in the Multi-Media Room at Auburn Junior High School at 5:30. If you are interested in signing up for junior high cross country, then click the following link: https://forms.gle/ide72DcQz2Dp5STMA

    Summer training begins June 11, and all athletes must have a current physical to participate. ACS will offer mass athletic physicals on May 1 at the Auburn High School gym. The cost is $20 and can be paid by cash or check (made out to AHS) or can be paid online here: MySchoolShares.   • Online Registration for Returning Students

    Returning student registration will reopen from May 27-June 7!

    Students who do not complete registration will not receive team placement notifications from East Samford School.  Proof of Residency is essential in the registration process, and ACS requires 2 proofs of residency in the name of the legal guardianCustodial documentation, if applicable, is important to upload, too.  Please submit one of the following combinations for proof of residency:

    -Current year Lee County property tax statement AND current month’s utility bill

    -Mortgage closing document (+signed Settlement Statement by Seller) AND current month’s utility bill

    -Mortgage bill statement (itemized, detailed and identifiable) AND current month’s utility bill

    -Recorded Warranty Deed AND current month’s utility bill

    -Current Property Tax Receipt (you can download a copy of your property tax receipt at https://www.altags.com/lee_license/property.aspx) AND current month’s utility bill

    -Current lease/rental agreement AND current month’s utility bill (Please make sure the signature page is included)

    -Trailer rental or ownership document AND lot lease AND current month’s utility bill

  • Student Check-Out Policy

    Due to the traffic limitations in our front driveway and afternoon bus pickup, checkouts will not be permitted after 3:00 PM each day.  Please make plans to check your child out prior to 3:00 PM if you have afternoon appointments, etc.

  • Handbook Reminders

    Cell Phones (pg. 5 in the DMS Student/Parent Handbook): If the device is visible, heard, or in use we will confiscate the device in line with the procedures detailed in the handbook.

    Dress Code (pg. 23-24 in the ACS Parent and Student Handbook): As a reminder, the updated dress code policy went into effect in January 2023.  Please revisit clothing choices with your student to ensure they are in line with the procedures in the handbook.
