HEALTH SERVICES
-
Welcome to Auburn City Schools Health Services website. The School Health Program of Auburn City Schools exists to foster academic achievement of all students in a safe, healthy, and nourishing environment. The program serves to promote health and wellness, prevent disease, disorders, and injury, manage and support students with chronic health care needs, and promote positive health and safety behaviors.
Each of the ACS schools has a nurse on-site during school hours. School nurses provide services in compliance with state and federal mandates. These services include medication administration, assisting students with chronic health problems, assisting with school screenings, monitoring for communicable diseases, and providing health education information.
