Mr. Willis Blakely

Hey there!

I'm Mr. Blakely, but you can just call me Mr. B. I'm thrilled to be starting my first year at Pick Elementary; it's a new adventure for me, and I can't wait to get started!

I have thirty years of teaching experience in Georgia, teaching all subjects to students in 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades. I graduated from Valdosta State University with a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education and later earned a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Columbus State University.

When I'm not in the classroom, you'll find me hanging out with my family, working in the yard, giving old furniture a fresh new look, grooving to music, and, of course, cheering on my favorite college football teams! I grew up rooting for Clemson – Go Tigers! But since both of my kids graduated from Auburn University, I'm also a huge Auburn fan. War Eagle!

I'm looking forward to building strong connections with my students and their families. Seeing my students succeed is what it's all about for me!
