Registration will close April, 30, 2024 at 3 PM for the 2023-2024 Academic Session
Kindergarten and Students New to Auburn City Schools ONLY
Only students who currently reside in Auburn may register online. NO Returning students' registrations will be accepted on the NEW student portal.
All future students not currently residing in Auburn should contact the Residency Office at 334-887-1906 for guidance.

It is MANDATORY for any student that takes medication regularly at school to submit a Parent Authorization Form. Please download the School Medication Prescription/Parent Authorization Form and bring the completed form to your student's school.

2023-2024 Elementary Rezoning
Woodland Pines Elementary School is currently under construction and will be completed in time to start the 2023-2024 school year, making it the 10th elementary campus in Auburn City Schools. This new facility will serve grades K-2 and feed into Yarbrough Elementary School, which will serve grades 3-5.
Due to the fact that Woodland Pines Elementary School did not open in the fall of 2022 as originally scheduled, elementary rezoning was revisited to ensure the plan is in line with our guiding principles. This review resulted in modifications to the elementary zone map that was presented to the Board of Education in December 2021, and approved by the Board on February 14, 2023.
The revised elementary zone map becomes effective in the 2023-2024 school year. The plan is provided in the links below:

You will receive daily reminder emails during this open registration period with your SNAPCODE. We encourage you to complete registration within this open period. Returning student registration will be open from March 13, 2023- May 1, 2023.

In May 2018, the Board of Education approved Facility Plan 2028, a 10-year plan addressing the demolition, reconstruction and renovation of buildings and the impact of student growth on facilities capacity. Phase I of this plan, which began in the Fall 2018, includes the reconstruction and demolition of Cary Woods Elementary School and J. F. Drake Middle School, demolition and reconstruction of the gymnasium at East Samford School, and a new elementary school.
Facility Plan 2028 includes $172.33 million in estimated capital needs to complete the full implementation. These project will be funded with local funds from the City of Auburn 5 mill Capital Fund and the 16 mill Special School Tax funds. The school district continues to monitor student enrollment as it relates to the timing of projects from the master plan.
