  • Proposed 2024-2025 ACS Parent and Student Handbook

    The proposed 2024-2025 ACS Parent and Student Handbook is now available for public review and comment through March 11, 2024.

    The handbook is slated to be submitted to the Board at their March 13 meeting for a final vote following the 30-day review opportunity. 

    The proposed 2024-2025 Parent and Student Handbook has been updated as of February 20, 2024 to include changes, highlighted in green text, approved by the Auburn City Board of Education in November 2023.

  • New Students to Auburn City Schools for the 2023-2024 Academic Year

    Kindergarten and Students New to Auburn City Schools ONLY

    Please do not use this link if your child is currently enrolled in Auburn City Schools.

    Only students who currently reside in Auburn may register online. NO Returning students' registrations will be accepted on the NEW student portal.

    All future students not currently residing in Auburn should contact the Residency Office at 334-887-1906 for guidance.

    It is MANDATORY for any student that takes medication regularly at school to submit a Parent Authorization Form. Please download the School Medication Prescription/Parent Authorization Form  and bring the completed form to your student's school. 

    **** Please do not register for preschool until you have received notification from preschool that your child has been accepted into the program.

  • Master Plan

     

    Auburn City Schools 2028 Master Plan: Click HERE to Access PDF

    In May 2018, the Board of Education approved Facility Plan 2028, a 10-year plan addressing the demolition, reconstruction and renovation of buildings and the impact of student growth on facilities capacity. Phase I of this plan, which began in the Fall 2018, includes the reconstruction and demolition of Cary Woods Elementary School and J. F. Drake Middle School, demolition and reconstruction of the gymnasium at East Samford School, and a new elementary school.

    Facility Plan 2028 includes $172.33 million in estimated capital needs to complete the full implementation. These project will be funded with local funds from the City of Auburn 5 mill Capital Fund and the 16 mill Special School Tax funds.  The school district continues to monitor student enrollment as it relates to the timing of projects from the master plan.
