The Food Bank of East Alabama is hosting a drive-through food distribution on Sunday, April 5th at 2:00 p.m. for those in need in our community. The distribution will consist of perishable items – primarily fruits and vegetables – and will be offered on a first come, first served basis while the supply lasts. No reservation is required. Participants must remain in their vehicle while a staff member loads the food in their trunk. The Food Bank is located at 355 Industry Drive in Auburn. It's time for the 2019-2020 Six Flags Read to Succeed Campaign!! This is a free program that allows students in grades K-6 to earn tickets to Six Flags Over Georgia just by reading six hours for fun!! Here are the steps to register.
1) Visit: sixflags.com/books Use DMS code: YD17K
2) You may read any books you choose.
3) Keep track of your reading using the attached form.
4) Record your reading at the website sixflags.com/books.
5) Receive a free Six Flags Over Georgia ticket from Drake Middle School in May.
You can optionally earn bonus awards by reading more than six hours such as discounts on additional tickets for family members, Season Passes or Memberships.

In May 2018, the Board of Education approved Facility Plan 2028, a 10-year plan addressing the demolition, reconstruction and renovation of buildings and the impact of student growth on facilities capacity.
