Mrs. Stacey Early
I was born and raised in Florida, but went to Auburn University after high school. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Auburn University. After leaving college, I moved back to Florida and taught for 7 years. During that time I taught fifth grade reading, writing, and grammar. In 2009 my family moved to Auburn. Our three boys and I were very excited to be a part of Auburn City Schools. I have been at Drake since 2010.
My goal as a teacher is that every student will leave my class "liking" reading. I would love for all of them to love reading. My classroom is full of book club novels, which are sets of 5 books. They will have to opportunity to read as many books possible. Along with reading, we will focus on different forms of writing and grammar.
