I graduated from The University of Georgia in Art Education and began teaching art in 1980.  I taught five years in Virginia and five years in Georgia before coming to Auburn to teach in 1997. I have had the opportunity to start three different elementary art programs in three different states. I was lucky to help start the art program at Pick in 2013! The 2024-25 school year is my 28th year teaching in Auburn City Schools! 

We are going to be Rockstars in Art at Pick! In the art classroom, students will explore many different artists as they learn about the Elements of Art and Principles of Design. The students will have the opportunity to work with a variety of media during the school year.
