Hi! I've had the privilege of teaching in Auburn City Schools since 2004. I began working as an event planner in 1996 after I received a Bachelor of Science from Georgia State University in Hospitality Administration. After a few years, I went back to school to earn a post-baccalaureate teaching certificate from Texas Tech University. Later I obtained a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education from the University of West Alabama. I've taught 1st, 2nd, 3rd, & 5th grade over the years. As I enter my 20th year of teaching, I can say 2nd grade is by far my favorite grade to teach! I look forward to a wonderful 2023-2024 school year!
