    Welcome to Cary Woods Elementary (CWE). Our school resides in the middle of the Cary Woods neighborhood, truly making us a neighborhood school.  CWE is a public Title I school serving students in kindergarten through second grade. Our facility includes twenty six classrooms, five small group classrooms, a multi-purpose room, media center, art room, music room, two playgrounds, a courtyard, an athletic field, and a nature trail.  The environment and culture at Cary Woods is focused on the specific needs of primary children as they Create, Wonder and Explore their learning and the world around them. Our behavior plan centers around our Explorer Expectations: be respectful, be responsible, and be safe. Students are recognized for displaying these attitudes throughout the building with our Explorer of the Month program.
