Lamarrius Anderson, Assistant Principal
Welcome to Cary Woods Elementary School! My name is Lamarrius Anderson. I am delighted to serve as the Assistant Principal at CWES. Let me tell you my story. I am married to Carmen Anderson, a former teacher and instructional Coach with Auburn City Schools, now the Assistant Principal at Loachapoka Elementary. We have three daughters who have all graduated from Auburn High School and are in college. I earned my Bachelors degree from Faulkner University and a Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education from Alabama State University. I earned my Ed.S degree at Troy University. I began teaching Kindergarten in Dadeville AL in 1999. Since then I have taught 1st grade, 2nd grade and 3rd grade at Yarbrough Elementary School in Auburn. I have also served as the Instructional Coach at Richland Elementary School. I look forward to establishing relationships with our students, parents, faculty, and staff that will promote growth and development so that our students will be successful both socially and academically. I believe that all students can be successful and learn if they are given the opportunity to Create, Wonder, and Explore the world around them. It is my desire to see every teacher and student grow and learn and to continue to be life-long learners. I look forward to a fantastic year of learning!
