    AHS's ReCONNECT is the time for students to pick up schedules, ACS-Student iPads (providing fees have been paid and forms completed), parking passes (providing fees have been paid and one issued), participate in school tours, pay school fees, and purchase school spirit wear!  Please note that most purchases can be paid for on My School Bucks!
    The date/time is as follows:
    Monday, July 22, from 9:00 until 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 until 3:00 p.m. 
    Please note all ReCONNECT activities will take place in AHS's Academic building (the 1000 building), and student iPads can be picked up in the AHS Library.
    And, AHS's drop in Meet Your Teacher is Wednesday, August 7, from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m!

  • 2024/2025 Schedule Change Request Dates!

    From AHS Counseling!!

    The schedule change period will be Monday, July 15, through Thursday, July 18, 2024. Students will have the option to submit ONE (1) free change request in person between 8:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. in the AHS Counseling Office OR complete the online schedule change request form (link is below). Counselors will review requests (in-person and online) according to the schedule listed below:
    Summer Schedule Change Schedule: 
    • Monday, July 15:  Seniors (12th Grade) ONLY 
    • Tuesday, July 16:  Juniors (11th Grade) ONLY 
    • Wednesday, July 17:  Sophomores (10th Grade) ONLY 
    • Thursday, July 18:  All Grades (10th through 12th Grade)  

    The request form will open on Monday, July 15, at 8:30 a.m. and close on Thursday, July 18, at 3:00 p.m. Students must use their ACS email address and password to access the form.

    There are several reasons why a schedule change request cannot be fulfilled (i.e., course availability or alternating vs. semester vs. quarter course options). Submitting a schedule change request DOES NOT guarantee that a student’s schedule will be changed or that the requested class(es) are available. Please note that the next schedule change window (dates to be announced) will be at the beginning of the fall semester for a fee of $25 per class change and will require an administrator’s approval.

  • Attention Seniors!!  Civics Exam Study Guide!

    In 2017, the Alabama Legislature passed a law that requires public high school seniors to pass an American civics test as part of the requirements for graduation. Pursuant to statutory requirements, the test questions are the 100 questions about American history and government on which the U.S. citizenship and naturalization exam is based. Graduating Seniors must answer 60 test questions correctly in order to pass, and students may take the test as many times as necessary. The test is scheduled at AHS to be taken during the first two days of the academic year.

  • ACS iPad 1:1 PACE Initiative 2024/2025!!

    For 2024/2025, Auburn City Schools is excited to continue the iPad 1:1 PACE (Providing Authentic Creative Engagement) Initiative! With this initiative, each student (grades 7 through 12) will again be issued an iPad, a technology resource that will enhance academic opportunities across the school’s curriculum. Please refer to the handbook located on AHS’s web page (Our School drop down menu) for more information. Parents and students can visit the My School Bucks link (MSB), Parent drop down menu, on AHS’s web page in order to pay the required $50 ACS Technology Fee for use of the iPad and also to electronically sign the Technology Agreement form. AHS continues to be so excited about this program!!

  • AHS Summer Tours for New Students/Families

    Tours of AHS's campus will be offered to new students/families on the following dates/times:

    • Monday, June 10, at 9:00 a.m.
    • Friday, June 14, at 1:00 p.m.
    • Monday, June 17, at 9:00 a.m.
    • Friday, June 21, at 1:00 p.m.
    • Monday, June 24, at 9:00 a.m.
    • Friday, June 28, at 1:00 p.m.
    • Monday, July 8, at 9:00 a.m.
    • Friday, July 12, at 1:00 p.m.

    No appointment is necessary.  Please arrive promptly to the front lobby of AHS at the time listed above and join the tour!  Our AHS Ambassadors will serve as your tour guides!  No impromptu or individual tours will be provided.  Thank you!

  • Summer Homework Assignments

    Attention Students!  Please remember to complete your Summer Homework Assignments!  These assignments are posted on AHS’s web page, Student drop down menu.  Of course, not all courses have Summer Assignments!  Check out the web page to discover if you have assignments to complete! Academic schedules for the 202/2025 year should be mailed by end of June for students who registered for school and have submitted correct and complete residency information!

  • PowerSchool Parent App

    Attention AHS Parents!  If you are experiencing issues with the PowerSchool Parent app, it may well be time to reset your password.  You will need to log into the web-based Parent portal (using a browser window), reset your password there, and then the app should work again.  Should you still continue to experience issues, delete the app from your cell phone and then load it again.  Please note that for a more complete and informative experience in the Parent Portal, parents should use the URL to access the Parent Portal and not the app. The app does not work as well as the website.  Thank you for your patience.
