  • Alabama College Application Campaign Week!

The Alabama College Application Campaign is the state-level counterpart to the American College Application Campaign originated in 2005. The campaign is part of the Plan 2020 Vision: Every child a graduate; every child prepared for college/work/adulthood in the 21st Century! The campaign is aimed to help accomplish four primary objectives: (1) Increase the number of 1st generation and low-income students pursuing post-secondary education; (2) Assist high school seniors with the college admission process; (3) Ensure each senior submits at least one application to college; and, (4) Encourage high school seniors to apply to both college and financial aid (FAFSA) early in their senior year. At Auburn High School, we are dedicated to excellence on all levels, including our system-wide mission of promoting a college going culture! To focus attention and awareness on the issue, we will be celebrating and highlighting the Alabama College Application Campaign with the Class of 2022 during the week of October 18 – October 22, 2021.  See AHS's Schoology for more information and details regarding the celebration!  Also, see the links below for information regarding Tiger Connect activities and participating state/regional colleges and universities and fee waivers during this week!

During Alabama College Application Campaign week, Seniors can order official transcripts to send to any of the participating schools for FREE. Traditional (in-person) students must submit their transcripts request with AHS's Ms. Jackson in the Counseling office (do not use the online request system). Virtual (online) students can email their requests to Ms. Jackson (Click here to email Ms. Jackson.).
