I'm so excited to begin my 12th year teaching in Auburn City Schools. This is my second year teaching elementary music to fourth and fifth graders at Yarbrough Elementary School. Each student has music class once a week for one hour.  I also direct the YES Music Makers choir that meets after school every Wednesday from 2:20-3:30. I have a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in elementary education from Auburn University.

On a personal note, I've been married to Frank Oprandy for 29 years. We have two children, Jonathan and Ella, and two dogs, Gigi and Charlie.
