I am super excited about starting my ninth year teaching at Yarbrough Elementary.  This is my 23rd year teaching in Alabama.  I am from Montgomery where I was born and raised.  I attended Auburn University Montgomery for my undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education.  I also received my Master’s degree in Reading Specialist from Auburn University Montgomery.  I received my Education Specialist degree from the University of Alabama Birmingham in Elementary Education with certification in English as a Second Language.  I love inspiring kids to read and build on their math skills. I love watching them learn to love reading as much as I do.  I enjoy traveling and seeing the world.
