Onboarding Checklist
After you have recieved the initial email from Hollye Beck:
- Click here to submit the New Hire Registration Form. (This must be completed before any step below. Completing this form will also generate your ACS username and email).
- Look for email from Etrieve that will contain your ACS username and a temporary password. Use that username and password to login to Etrieve and complete forms 1-9. This will also be the step where you will create a unique password for ACS accounts. Temporary password expires after 24 hours, so please be diligent in completing this.
- Click here to submit the Onboarding Information and RSVP form.
- If coming to ACS from another district in Alabama, request your previous district to submit a years of experience form to Human Resources.
- Submit documentation of training for Lee v. Macon (Disproportionality, Makes Sense Strategies, Foundations of PBS) to Human Resources. If you’re new to the profession or new to Alabama, you will complete this training with ACS (see below).
- Be sure you’ve saved important dates on your personal calendar. See the “Important Dates and Events” page in this hub.
Once you have access to an ACS email:
- Begin using your ACS email for all ACS work related correspondence.
- If you need to complete the Lee v. Macon training, access the training on acs.schoology.com. This training should be completed before the beginning of the next school year. If you need to be added to the course, click here to contact Drew Morgan.
- Setup/update your Alabama Information Management (AIM) Portal account. Click here for instructions on how to do that.
Once your contract ends with your previous employer:
- If coming to ACS from another Alabama district, contact your former district and ask them to move your account in PowerSchool Professional Learning to WOLEA (without LEA). This enables ACS to find your account and pull it into our system.
- If coming to ACS from another Alabama district, ensure your former district transfers sick leave days to ACS Human Resources attn: Patricia Greer
Items to bring to Orientation Session
- Notepad and writing utensil
- Prepared for ACS headshot photo
- Documents for I-9 verficiation. Acceptable documents must be original documents (no pictures or photocopies) and include:
- Option #1: US Passport
- Option #2: Driver’s license with social security card or birth certificate
