I love being your child's librarian! I have 27 years of experience in the classroom. This is my eighth year in the library media center. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education from Auburn University, my Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education from Auburn University and my Master's Degree in Library Media from The University of South Alabama.

Welcome to our School Library!

The mission of AEEC's school library media program is:

to be an integral part of AEEC and the surrounding community

to create authentic learning opportunities through collaboration
with faculty and staff

to provide quality resources and instruction that enhance learning

to encourage faculty and students in becoming effective users of
information

to promote life-long reading and learning skills for both information
and pleasure

Book Check Out

Kindergarten and First Grade students may check out one book for a period of 14 days.

Second Grade students may check out two books for a period of 14 days.

Lost or Damaged Books

Lost or damaged books will be subject to a fine/replacement fee.

Birthday Book Club

We offer you a special way to celebrate your birthday. It's called the Birthday Book Club. To be a member, simply donate $15.00 to AEEC's library media program. The money donated is used to purchase additional titles for the library collection. A special bookplate will be placed in your book of choice to commemorate your special day, and you will be invited to attend a celebration.
