Mrs. Lee Rogers
Hello WPE familes! My name is Pamela Lee Rogers, but everyone calls me Lee. It is such a delight to be the art teacher here at WPE!
I went to college at the University of North Georgia where I studied early childhood education and art education. I hold certifications in Early Childhood Education, Art Education, Gifted Education and ESOL (English to Speakers of Other Languages).
My husband, Warren, and I live in Auburn and we have two sons, Warren III and Benjamin. We also have two cats named Cleo and Hazel. When I am not teaching, I enjoy cooking, gardening, reading, and traveling. I also like to draw and I am a watercolor artist.
Finally, I want you to know that one of my most important goals this year is to keep the lines of communication open with you. Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or concerns during the year.
I cannot tell you how very excited I feel to be your child’s art teacher this year. I am looking forward to getting to know your student, learning from one another, and sharing some creative and fun projects this school year.
