Welcome to Second Grade! 

My name is Mrs. Sarah Barker, and I am so excited about my seventh year teaching at Dean Road. I am originally from Baltimore, Maryland.  I received my bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Auburn University (War Eagle!) and my master’s degree from Troy University in Elementary Education. 

Auburn is such a special place to me; it's where I spent many childhood vacations visiting my grandparents, where I spent my college days, where I met my husband,  and where my sweet son Colin was born. Auburn feels like home to me and I can’t think of a better place to teach. 

The Barker Bunch enters our classroom daily with enthusiasm, respect, and a positive attitude about learning. I can't wait to see what other sweet surprises are in store for us!  I am thrilled to be making wonderful memories with you and your classmates.
