Katie Maggard
My name is Katie Maggard. This is my sixth year in the Auburn City Schools system, but my 13th year teaching 5th grade. I taught my first three years in Lexington, KY after completing my Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education at Transylvania University. In 2011, I moved to North Carolina where I taught 5th grade for another 4 years. While in North Carolina, I received my Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from High Point University and National Board Certification. I am currently a Virtual 5th grade teacher at Pick Elementary with an instructional focus on math and science.
