Welcome to Second Grade! 

My name is Mrs. Sarah Barker, and I am so excited about my tenth year teaching at Dean Road. I am originally from Baltimore, Maryland.  I received my bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Auburn University (War Eagle!) and my master’s degree from Troy University in Elementary Education. 

I enjoy spending time around our wonderful town with my husband, son, and adorable goldendoodle. I enjoy Auburn Football, lacrosse, and am a slow byt steady runner!

The Barker Bunch enters our classroom daily with enthusiasm, respect, and a positive attitude towards learning. I can't wait to see what other sweet surprises are in store for us!  I am thrilled to be making wonderful memories with you and your classmates.
