1. When may I eat lunch with my child?

After the first two weeks of school, you are welcome to eat lunch with your child. Please let me know if you want me to order you a school lunch by sending a note with your child the day you plan to come. You may bring your own lunch if you prefer but no fast food, please.

2. How can I celebrate my child’s birthday at school?

You may send cupcakes or cookies to be served at lunchtime. If you are planning to have a party for your child after school, you may send invitations with your child to be passed out if all of the children in the class are invited.

3. When can I meet with the teacher?

If you would like to come in for a conference, please send a note with your child or call the school office (887-1970) to schedule a time. I will get back to you at my next planning period or after school. Please feel free to email me at any time. I check my email during my planning period and after school. It is:

4. My child has not written his/her homework assignment on his/her calendar. How can I find out what assignments are due?

I send home a weekly newsletter containing news from the classroom, upcoming events at school, and weekly homework assignments. I post my newsletter each Monday on my webpage and send a hard copy home with the children.
