Mrs.
Knighton's Discipline Procedures
It is my belief that
encouraging and inspiring children to always strive to do their best is the best
way to help children succeed in all aspects of their lives. In order for
children to reach their full potential it is essential to provide the highest
quality of educational experiences as well as maximize the amount of learning
that can take place in our classroom. In order to achieve this quality of
learning, the student’s behavior must not interfere with this process. If the
behavior is not able to be kept under control then I manage the behavior in the
classroom I will engage in positive reinforcement which means that I will point
out and publicly announce to all students’ outstanding behavior that I see
occurring in the classroom at any time during the course of each school day.
