Who Am I?
Leigh Hudon - Reading Coach
I am a graduate of Auburn University, where I earned a B.S. in Early Childhood Education. I later obtained a Master's Degree from the University of Montevallo. I have been teaching for fourteen years, held experience in three states and six different systems, Auburn being my favorite, of course!
I have two children who enjoy sports and horseback riding. In my spare time (which is limited since I am often at the ballpark or stable) I love to read and watch movies. I especially like books about historical events and personalities - King Henry VIII is my favorite!
I have had the privilege of working with the Title I program at Yarbrough Elementary School for several years and learned to value the voice that parents, teachers and students bring to an intervention program. This year I am excited to be serving as the Reading Coach. This opportunity will continue to allow me to work in close partnership with teachers, students and parents as we venture to meet the individual needs of our students.
