Dear Parents, It is hard to believe we have been in school for more than 9 weeks. I hope that your student has adjusted to the classroom routines and their new grade level. When you receive their report card, you may notice that it states that they are graded according to an ESL Plan. This means that the teacher is making accommodations for your language learner that helps them to understand the content of the subject. The students are responsible for learning the content but are allowed to demonstrate their understanding in a different way. Please contact your student's classroom teacher or me if you have questions regarding the report card.
