Dear Parents,
I absolutely loved my first week with your children! They
are already learning routines and beginning to work as a team. I look forward
to the many months we have ahead of us.
This week your child will begin to have our normal weekly
homework. Today the ADD Math sheet is coming home. It will not be due until
next Monday. Please see your child’s Life Support Binder for the chart that
lets you know which assignments are due each day of the week. They will
receive each of these one week before they are due. We are discussing in class
various ways of pacing ourselves to complete homework throughout the week, but
feel free to do what works for you and your child.
Please remember to check your child’s planner and
behavior chart each day. There will be an additional math assignment each
week, so that will be written in the planner.
I hope to see you all tonight at our curriculum night.
This will be an opportunity to hear what your child will be learning this year
as well as many of our classroom procedures. It will also be a good chance to
meet the other teachers that may work with your child as well as to ask
questions of us.
