YES Student Council |

The
Yarbrough Student Council is comprised of a classroom representative
from each 3rd, 4th and 5th grade classroom. These students were
elected by their peers and meet on a monthly basis. They assist in
coordinating school-wide activities and promoting good citizenship
throughout the school. |

SAT Prep! The Student Councils next project is assisting in programs and activities that will prepare our student for the SAT's. |

| Candy-Grams | |||
|
The Student Council
raised over $500.00 selling Candy-Grams
for Valentine's Day. This money was used to
purchase playground equipment for each grade level to be used during
recess. |
|||
|
Toys for Tots The Student Council collected toys to be donated to the Toys for Tots Organization. YES collected LOTS of toys to be distributed throughout the community at Christmas. Thanks to the Firefighters for helping us with this wonderful cause. |
