: National Children’s Book WeekMany special events occur throughout the year. You can access pictures by clicking on the "Special Events" box on the RLC home page. The PTA monthly newsletter lists specific dates and times of guest authors and programs, but mark your calendar each year for:
Scholastic Book Fairs in October and February

Book Check Out
Students may come to the library at anytime to check out a book. Books may be checked out for one week and renewed as needed.
1st Grade—one book
2nd Grade - two books
3rd, 4th, 5th, - three books
More books may be checked out due to special circumstances.
Lost/Damaged Books
Books that are lost or damaged are subject to a replacement fee.
All books: $20.00
Special repayment plans are available on an individual basis.
