Alabama's
Emphasis on Reading

The "Emphasis on Reading" program is sponsored by the State Department of Alabama. Each grade level has a set of 10 books that we will share. After we read the list, we will vote on our favorite from each grade level. Then we will send our votes to the Alabama State Department of Education where our votes are added to other schools across the state. Each May, the "Book of the Year" for our state is posted. Check back for the winner. We are enjoying our story time and all the wonderful new books each week. Below is our list of books we are sharing. You can check these titles out at www.amazon.com
