Get Out and Play!

Get out and play with your kids!  They need the fun interaction and time with you.  Children learn so much through play, it is one of the most important activities they do!  Watching TV and playing video games does not count as time with your kids, SO turn off the electronics, get in the floor or go outside and PLAY…they’ll love it and you will too!  Some simple ideas are listed below.

And don’t forget…use this time to Talk To Your Child!

Catch (football, baseball, Frisbee, etc.)
Frisbee Golf
Tennis
Bocce
Horse Shoes
Checkers
Jacks
Chess
Dolls (I recently learned how to play Barbie!)
Tea Party
Butterfly or Bird watch
Bike
Skate
Card Games
Walk (put on some boots and take a cool “creek walk”)Run
ASK THEM WHAT THEY WANT TO DO!
