Your Child’s School Counselor

Mr. Bradley Hooks is very happy to be the school counselor at Ogletree Elementary School. Mr. Hooks and his wife Tina moved back to the area from Hendersonville, North Carolina. Mr. and Mrs. Hooks are both originally from Alabama and have "come home" to be closer to family and old friends. He has a sweet daughter Posie and a new son, Banjo.  An avid outdoorsman, Mr. Hooks spends his spare time mountain biking, rock climbing, running, and surfing. He plans to incorporate his love of the outdoors and physical activity into his guidance lessons.

Education and Experience

Mr. Hooks earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees at Auburn University. While working in North Carolina he earned an Education Specialist degree at the University of South Carolina. Mr. Hooks has been a school counselor and lead teacher at both the elementary and middle school level for the past 12 years. While at the middle school he coached cross country and was assistant track and field coach. He has been a counselor at Falling Creek Camp, an adventure camp in North Carolina, for over 12 years leading mountain biking and climbing trips.
