Organizing your Bobcat Social Studies Note book

We will refer to it as the  (I.G.N.) Interactive Geography Notebook for Geography

and the (I.C.N.) Interactive Civics Notebook for Civics

Requirements:    Rubric for notebook grade

• You will need a Spiral Bound Notebook, 70 -100 pages.
•  College rule
• Each page will be numbered front and back
• A table of contents will be kept in the front of IGN
• The more creative the better!!! students are encouraged to make their IGN's colorfull, use color pencils, and crayons.
• All work will be kept in the (IGN) notebook;

The Notebook

ü       The notebook and writing utensils must be brought to class daily.

ü       Work is to be kept NEAT, COMPLETE and CORRECT.

ü       Torn, ripped, scribbled, or messy pages will cause a deduction of 10 points off a “note book check” grade worth a possible 50 points.

ü        Periodically “open notebook” tests will be given for 100 points each
