We keep a folder with a table of contents for every chapter. I would encourage you to re-read the chapter with your child, the content is long and detailed. I would like to get through Sections 1 and 2 this week.

Monday I will be checking folders to see if they have a Table of Contents and about 5 pages of activities in the folder. (Getting to Know the S.S. book/answers and then a runoff sheet front and back (map skills) and two answer sheets.)

We are off to a wonderful start in our Social Studies classes. The new leopards seem to have adjusted to Drake and are anxious to learn.

We have been meeting and greeting each other this week. Hopefully everyone has met a new friend and has a phone number for S. Studies issues/questions. We will finish the week with map skills and learning to use our textbook.

Next week we will begin Chapter 5. Your child will be keeping a folder with a table of contents and the assignments completed daily. Please ask about these assignments next week- more details later.

I AM SO EXCITED ABOUT THIS GROUP OF CHILDREN, THEY HAVE BEEN FANTASTIC SO FAR!
