About Mrs. Marsha Muhammad Mays Mrs. Mays is a “History Buff”. She enjoys reading and studying about different cultures and civilizations, current and ancient. You may also find her deeply involved in a political debate with her friends. By the way, she just loves the , PBS, History and the National Geographic channels. Mrs. Mays was born in New York City, but lived and taught in the state of California for over 10 years. This is her 6th year at Drake Middle School, but she has been a teacher in Auburn City Schools since 1994. Mrs. Mays has a B.A. from State University at New Paltz in Social Science, and a Masters in Social Science Education from Adel Phi University, both in the state of New York. During her free time, besides reading, debating and continuing to study history and world cultures, you can find her enjoying life on the farm with her husband, horses (and soon to be goats) and spoiling their grandchildren.
