b. Practice for Rainbow Readers. The Rainbow Reader rubric (check sheet) will be due by Friday.

camouflage- when colors and patterns are used to hide people, animals or things

trio- a group of three

alert- someone who is wide awake and able to act quickly

frisky- someone or something that is playful and lively

scarce –something that is hard to find

 

Ideas for studying spelling words:

a.  Write each spelling word 5 times.

b.  Spell each word aloud.

c.  Write the words in alphabetical order.

d.  Write a sentence for each word.

e.  Have someone give you a practice spelling test.

f.  Write a synonym for each vocabulary word.
