Mrs. Strickland will team teach with Mrs. Veleke and Mrs. Cope for the 2008-09 school year.  Mrs. Strickland will teach  Reading, Language Arts, and Social Studies curriculum to her homeroom.  All fifth grade students will rotate first semester through Mrs. Strickland's class for instruction in Descriptive Writing.  The three fifth grade teachers will all teach math to flexible groups.

Mrs. Strickland has a  "Florescent Free" classroom.  Overhead florescent lighting does not seem to encourage calm, classroom learning.  So we have LOTS of lamps throughout the room and that is all we EVER turn on.  We love having the natural sunlight coming in from our window and the lamps make a warm glow all throughout the room!  Please check out our scrapbook using the NEXT link below.
