Anne Frank Book Report
This story is written by Ruud van der Rol and Rian Verhoeven. I think the story took place all around Germany because it was the time of when Hitler came to take the Jews. Things that were found in the setting were concentration camps.
One character in the story was Anne Frank. This character was important because the story is about her. I think this character was courageous because in hiding she knew she was going to get through it and become a famous writer.
First, in the story it talks about Anne Frank’s birth and her family. Next, it talks about her going into hiding with 7 other people. Finally, it tells about going to a camp and having their hair shaved. It also said that Morgot, he sister, and herself died from typhus.
The problem in the story happened because the Frank family went into hiding. The ending was both happy and sad because Anne Frank died and it was happy because Otto Frank published her diary and it became famous.
Anne and Margot were two characters in the story. Anne was creative while Margot was bright. If I could choose I would rather be Margot because she got good grades. It is a great book. I think that boys and girls would both like it.

Unique Me

Once
upon a time there was a girl named Jessica Leigh Gottesman. Here is some
information about her (ME!). My hair is dark brown -almost black. It is the
color of a tree trunk. My hair is shoulder length. My eyes are the same color as
my hair. Most of my favorite things are books--Nancy Drew, Harry Potter, and
Little Women --I love them all. I am tiny… the smallest person in my class. I
am only 4 foot 1. My skin tone is a tan color. And that is all about me
physically.
Now
you will learn about the political me. My families rules are don’t smoke and
don’t drink. The biggest rule is “always try your best”. In games we
don’t change the rules. When online we can’t type in our names except
passwords or e-mail. My family is not allowed to e-mail someone we don’t know.
My brother and I are only allowed to watch certain shows.
I
attend church at the Auburn Church of Christ. My religion is nondenominational.
My mom grew up in that church. My dad’s side is Jewish. Now he is Christian.
My grandfather is an elder in the church. This
is the religious side of me
I
like physical activities, singing, enjoying nature, collecting, and cooking. I
like physical activity like gymnastics. I like it because it is challenging. I
like challenging things. I like the way I feel while I do it.
I like to sing because it runs in my family. Most of my mom’s side of
the family sings. I am in the school chorus. Singing expresses the way I feel. I
love to sing. I enjoy nature by watching the sun set. I like cloud watching. I
find dogs in the clouds for my brother. I star gaze when I am sad. It is very
aesthetic. I like collecting seashells. When I go to the beach I look for them.
It is fun. I like to take walks with my Mom to look for them.
I like cooking because I like to eat.
I also like to get messy. I like eating cookies. My dad and I make
cheesecake. My mom and I make vanilla cookies.
Now
for the intellectual me. I love to read. My favorite subject is reading. I also
like spelling. I memorize books I have read. My favorite is Harry Potter.
I love to visit libraries. I have gone to the Museum of Modern Art. I liked the
Gottesman Museum. I wonder if a relative owns it. I also liked the part about
dinosaurs.
There
are 4 people in my family. My mom, my dad, and my brother Joshua. On my mom’s
side I have a few family members I know. One member I don’t see very often.
When we get together we play a lot. Her name is Darian. She is two days older
than me. On my dad’s side I have A
LOT! AND I MEAN A LOT of family members.
Most of them I them I don’t even know. My uncle has two little boys. My
dad’s sister is not married. For Christmas my mom’s side of the family comes
down to visit or we go to Tennessee. For Thanksgiving my family goes to New
Jersey to see my Aunt.
I
have a bank account. I don’t have chores. If a chore comes up I do it for my
mom and I earn money. I am saving
my money for college.

My
Room
My
room is very very messy. I have most of my stuff thrown into a corner by my
desk. My desk has no writing room. It is covered with books and paper. My
computer is also on my desk. My desk has my brush, ponytail holders, and other
stuff. Next to my dresser I have a basket of clothes that I don’t have any
thing to go with. My draws barely shut. My bed is hardly ever made. It has my
pajamas on it. I am surprised I can see my floor. My walls are pink. I have a
bulletin board with my pre-team awards on it.
