Attention Parents!

Important Health Information:

Two doses of the chickenpox vaccine are now recommended routinely for all children. If your child has received just one dose of chickenpox vaccine, you should discuss this with your family clinic or private physician. A vaccinated child can still develop chickenpox, but will usually have a milder disease. Any student who develops symptoms of chickenpox should be kept home until all of the sores have formed scabs and the child feels better.  If you suspect your child may have chicken pox contact your doctor and school nurse.
