Shared Reading
Reading skills are developed through shared reading. Letter recognition, letter/sound correspondences, and sight word recognition are a few things that we work on during shared reading. Not only do we read stories during this time, but we also dance and sing chants. Shared reading is a stepping stone for the children to become readers.
