Small Group Information

I have the opportunity to work with many children in small groups.  Students meet with me for approximately thirty minutes each week for 6 to 8 weeks.  In small groups, we read books, play games, watch videos/cds, use puppets, use play-dough,  etc.  I enjoy getting to know the students in a small setting.

Students can be referred by teachers and/or parents.  Parents are always notified when a child is referred by a teacher.  If you have any questions concerning student participation, please feel free to contact me.

Confidentiality is respected.

School counselors are held to the same strict confidentiality standards as other counselors.  Issues shared in a student and/or parent session will remain except for the following three reasons:  harmful to self, harmful to others, or harmful by someone else.
