Tailgate Day

Tailgate Day has become an AEEC tradition!  Each November, we celebrate many of the activities that are unique to our community.

Mrs. H. teaches us about the marching band.

We learn Auburn's fight song and about the different instruments in a marching band.

Marching around the playground was a one of our favorite things.

At our next stop, we made Tailgate Day  memory books.

Rolling Toomer's Corner is a very special tradition.

After rolling our tree, we enjoyed some refreshing lemonade.  It was almost like we  really were at Toomer's Corner.

While we waited for our next station, we cheered for the next marching band!

Face painting is another Auburn tradition.

We got into shape at the training camp.

We practiced cheering for our favorite team!

The dance team rotation really made us tired!

Mrs. Oakes read us a book about Auburn Football traditions!

Finally, it is time for the pep rally!

Aubie was definitely a crowd favorite!!

After the pep rally, we had our tailgate lunch!
