Our Train Ride

After much research, we learned that most large circuses travel from their Winter Headquarters to their circus destinations by train. As a result, our class decided to do the same.

Our class was in charge of building the engine car for the train. Here is how we made it.

The morning of the trip was very busy. We had to pack our suitcases, buy our tickets and go through security before boarding our train.


		Our ticket agents wait for their first passengers.	The passengers buy their tickets at the ticket window.
Our security officers make sure that all passengers are safe.	They watch as the passengers pass through the metal detectors.	They also screen the suitcases.	After passing through security, the passengers enter the train platform.

Our Porters help the passengers onto the train.	They also show the passengers to their seats.	Before leaving the station, the Dispatcher checks the train and makes sure that all the doors are closed.	The Conductor makes the announcement that the train is ready to pull out of the station.
The Conductor checks that all passengers have a ticket.		The Engineer pulls the train out of the station.
Our Chefs prepare a delicious snack for the passengers.			The Stewards pass out lunch and snacks on our trip.
		Eating lunch on the train was fun!	After lunch, we settled down for a movie.
	Our Clean-up Crew keeps the train nice and clean for all the passengers.
