The United States of America
Our theme for this year is the United States of America. We sent Flat Aubies out across the country. Look and see where Aubie has been.
Project Work Project work is a crucial part of our thematic curriculum. We began our year by drawing from what was familiar to the children. After studying about our town, we began to branch out and research other areas of the United States. Our class chose to travel to New York. Once we have chose and research a particular subject, we decide the best way to share the information we are learning with others. One of the ways we do this is through project work. The children construct replicas of what they are learning about. During this construction, the children experience and build on every subject area. Come with us on our tour of the great land that we live in.
