Teaching Defined
A thematic curriculum is an in-depth study of a particular topic, which integrates all subject areas. In a thematic curriculum, children, guided by their own interests, with the teacher as a facilitator, learn more than the basics. Themes provide many opportunities for students to actively participate in their learning process. Themes will be completed thought extensive research, webbing, project work, creativity, and fact books.
