ART CENTER Children may use a variety of materials such as glue, staples, yarn, markers, pipe cleaners and paper in this center. These children are expressing themselves creatively through their works for art.

CONSTRUCTION CENTER This is one of our favorite centers. It has various kinds of blocks, straws, legos and connecting manipulatives. These children are not only having fun but are also strengthening their fine motor skills. |

|
PAINT CENTER Check out our artist!!! What fun it is to experiment with watercolors at this center. We love to represent our thoughts and ideas through painting.

|
LIBRARY CENTER In our library you will find a variety of reading materials. Some of which include fact and fictional books, big books, books by different children's authors, and class and individual made books. Some of these children are using one-to-one correspondence as they point to and read the text in their favorite big books. The others are using sequence cards to put the characters in Brown Bear, Brown Bear What Do You See? in order.

MATH CENTER Math games, measuring devices, various manipulatives for counting, sorting and patterning, and children's books about math can be found in this center. Look at our good counter!!!

|
BLOCK CENTER There are blocks of different sizes and shapes to explore with in this center. Various community manipulatives are also available to encourage dramatic and creative play. These boys have begun to construct their very own city. |

|
PUBLISHING CENTER We have several books published in this center every day. The children have truly enjoyed becoming authors and illustrators. These girls are working very hard on their illustrations and words.

|
|
DISCOVERY CENTER The children enjoy discovering with a variety of Science and Social Studies materials. Globes, magnets, maps, scales, binoculars and prisms are just a few. One friend is locating the different states through the use of a magnetic United States Puzzle and the others are discovering new things through books.

|
|
MAKE A WORD CENTER Big foam letters, magnetic letters, ABC games, puzzles, favorite chants and wipe off boards are some of the items used by the children to increase their language arts skills. Check out the teacher reading the chant to her students and the cool ABC train puzzle. The other children are locating and writing classmates' names.

|
|
WATER CENTER There are different kinds of sink and float items, measuring cups and water pumps in our water center. These friends are having fun experimenting to see how much water it takes to spin the water wheels really fast.
|
|
|
PUZZLE CENTER In this center the children enjoy putting together puzzles that are small and some that are even big floor puzzles. These girls are enjoying our animal puzzles and our United States puzzle.
|
|
|
GEARS CENTER A gear table and gears of various sizes and shapes can be experimented with in this center. These children are trying to figure out the best way to get his gear constructions to spin fast when they are placed on the gear table.

|
|
ROLLER COASTER CENTER This center is full of different kinds of roller coasters and marbles. Problem solving skills are enhanced as the children figure out the best way to construct their workable roller coasters. Look at these problem solvers amazing roller coasters!!!

COMPUTER CENTER The computer center is a very, very popular place! The children enjoy a variety of educational games which include language arts, science, social studies and math skills.
