Dolphins

On this chart we listed what we knew about dolphins, what we wanted to learn and what we did learn about them.

Here is our web of facts that we learned while we researched and constructed our very own dolphin.

What  fun the children had typing their favorite dolphin facts on the computer.  They read as follows:

1.Spinner dolphins can spin around 16 times in the are using their tail.

2.  Dolphins are in the whale family.  They are tooth whales.

3.  There are 33 kinds of dolphins.

4.  Dolphins are kind to people.

5.  They can jump 26 feet in the air.

6.  Half of their brain rest for 15 minutes.  After 15 minutes the other half rest.

 

We are masering the gray papre to mace our spinner dolphin.

(We are measuring the gray paper to make our spinner dolphin.)

We mixt white and black paint to make gray.  Then we paintd our dolphin gray.

(We mixed white and black paint to make grey.  Then we painted our dolphin grey.)
