We wanted to know: "How much does our pumpkin weigh?" Each student estimated the weight of our pumpkin in their Math Journal. |
Then we found out how much each student weighed by weighing ourselves on a scale. Students will decide who weighs more and who weighs less: their self or the pumpkin. |
We weighed our pumpkin. It weighs 15 pounds! Brock had the closest estimation with a 20 pound estimate. |
Andrew asked each student "What type of face should we paint on our pumpkin?" He found 11 students that wanted a scary face, 1 student wanted a happy face, and 1 student wanted a silly face. |
