Rules and Consequences
Procedures:
1. Students must enter the room quietly, sign in, and immediately begin working on assignments.
2. All assignments must be done individually and quietly. If students need help from the teacher, they must raise their hands to signal the teacher for help.
3. The teacher dismisses tutoring. DO NOT pack up your bags until you are instructed by the teacher.
4. In order to ride the bus, students must receive a ticket from the teacher. Please wait until you have received a ticket to ride the bus home.
** Please remember tutoring is for additional instruction and academic help. It is not reserved for test make-ups or test retakes.
Rules/Policies:
Be Respectful. Students must be respectful to teachers, administrators, classmates and the learning environment of after school tutoring.
Be responsible. students must follow all after-school tutoring rules, bus rules, and school rules. Students and parents will sign a contract saying they understand these rules and policies. Students will be held accountable for this document.
Be ready. Students must come to tutoring with all material and homework. They must come prepared to work and receive help with their subject.
Consequences:
1. Verbal warning/Parent contact
2. Parent conference
3. Removal from after school tutoring
**Some situations may warrant immediate removal from after-school tutoring and/or referrals.
Tardiness
Students will not be allowed to enter tutoring if they are not in the room at the sound of the 3:25 p.m. bell. Students have approximately ten minutes from the sound of the 3:15 dismissal bell, which means there should be no excuse for being late.
