Grading Policy

Each student will have the opportunity to receive 10 points per day. Points are awarded/earned accordingly:

·        2 pts. for warm up exercises

·        5 pts. for activity

·        1 pt. for appropriate shoes

·        1 pt. for appropriate shorts/sweat pants

·        1 pt. for appropriate shirt

Points will be deducted accordingly if the student doesn’t fulfill his/her responsibilities for the day.  At the end of the 9 weeks the students unearned points will be deducted from the total number of points from the total number of points possible and divide by total number of points possible.

For example: If 200 points is the maximum points earned and a students lost 15 points during the 9 weeks the students grade would be a 93.   (200-15=185. 185/200= 92.5 or 93)

Unit tests will be given throughout the year and will be added to the total number of possible points.
