Croquet for Charity

On March 13, we held out annual Croquet for Charity.  This is an opportunity for the club members to compete for the coveted title of King or Queen of Croquet.  The entry fee into the croquet tournament is canned food, so this is part of our Can-Do project.  We collected 80 cans.

The match started out friendly enough, but it soon got brutal.
These three participants raise their mallets to the impending storm.  Just as the match ended, by the way, Auburn was hit with a fierce thunderstorm!

Presenting the new Queen of Croquet!

Notice the storm in the background.  Even though it looks dark, this picture was taken at 4:15 in the afternoon!
